Our client in Lusaka, is looking for a Credit Officer to join their team for a job vacancy within the insurance industry.

CREDIT CONTROLLER

Location: Lusaka

Report directly to: The Finance Manager.

Duties and responsibilities among others;

• Collection of premiums from both, brokers and direct clients.
• Matching and reconciling of receipts.
• Production of monthly statements for brokers and direct clients.
• Receipting of premiums from brokers and direct clients.
• Monitoring of debtors/ aged analysis.
• Processing of broker/agent commissions where necessary.
• Performs any other duties related to the job as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

• 5 “Grade 12” passes including English Language and Mathematics.
• Professional qualification in accounting or a degree in accountancy.
• At least 3 years relevant experience. Experience in an insurance industry is added advantage.
• Self-starter.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Very knowledgeable with computers particularly excel.
• Driver’s licence is an added advantage.
