Job Summary:
To foster a nurturing and inclusive organizational culture that embodies the core values of academic excellence, compassion, and practical skill development. To ensure that students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for academic success and practical skills essential for their future careers.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management – Oversee recruitment, on-boarding, and performance management processes to ensure a talented and motivated workforce. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to HR, payroll, benefits administration, and staff development.

Cultural Leadership – Lead the development and implementation of strategies to promote a positive organizational culture that reflects Pestalozzi’s values and ethos as well as foster a sense of belonging and community among staff, students, families, and volunteers through inclusive practices and initiatives.

Values Integration – Ensure alignment of organizational policies, practices, and decision-making processes with Pestalozzi’s core values of academic achievement, compassion, and practical skill development. Cultivate relationships with external partners, including parents, caregivers, community leaders, and local organizations, to strengthen ties with the broader community and promote collaboration.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization, ensuring that all stakeholders feel valued, respected, and represented. Implement policies and practices that promote equity and address systemic barriers to access and opportunity for marginalized populations.

Ethical Education – Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops on ethics, values, and social responsibility for students, staff, and volunteers. Integrate ethical discussions and reflection into the curriculum and extracurricular activities to foster critical thinking and moral reasoning skills.

Wellness and Support Services – Oversee the provision of wellness and support services for students and staff, including mental health resources, counselling, and pastoral care. Implement initiatives to promote self-care, resilience, and work-life balance among staff and volunteers.

Performance Appraisal – Undertake and agree to performance targets and conduct appraisal for all staff under supervision

Reporting – Prepare reports, plans and budgets.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Grade Twelve (12) Certificate (six subjects)
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources, Administration, Education or related field
Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources, Administration, Education, or related field
Practicing licence from a professional body
Work Experience:
At least ten (10) years work experience in Organizational Culture Development, community engagement or related, with three (3 years) at management level.
