Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Relationship Officer to manage and grow our SME client portfolio while ensuring superior customer experience and operational control. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, a passion for customer engagement, and the ability to meet business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and attract new SME clients while building and managing long-term relationships.

Drive customer recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.

Provide high-level stakeholder engagement and maintain strong relationships with key business partners.

Ensure 100% compliance with KYC requirements and manage the timely processing of loan applications.

Maintain accurate data by ensuring all loan applications are correctly loaded into the system.

Deliver superior service by adhering to the Customer Service Charter and ensuring service excellence.

Develop and manage strategic Key Account Plans for off-takers.

Conduct market intelligence to stay updated on industry trends and identify growth opportunities.

Perform site visits to maintain insight into client operations and loan utilization.

Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports

Monitor and manage portfolio quality, meeting performance targets set by management.

Ensure compliance with risk management guidelines and product policies.

Regularly review personal performance in line with set objectives.

Utilize strong networking abilities to expand market reach and client base.
Qualifications and Skills:

A diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience in customer relationship management or financial services (experience with SMEs is a plus).

Strong stakeholder engagement and account management skills.

Ability to analyze financial data and recommend effective solutions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
