Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and personable Customer Relationship Agent to build and maintain strong relationships with clients across our distribution network. This role involves regular field visits to bars, restaurants, wholesalers, and retailers to ensure customer satisfaction, gather market intelligence, promote brand visibility, and support order fulfillment and after-sales service.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Visit clients regularly to maintain strong, trust-based relationships.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing client concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Support & Order Management:
Support sales teams by collecting orders from clients and following up on deliveries.
Promote new and existing products during visits and encourage up-selling where appropriate.
Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely product delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
Brand Promotion:
Ensure visibility of company brands through merchandising, promotional materials, and retail activations.
Gather feedback from clients on product performance and marketing campaigns.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activity and market trends during field visits.
Provide timely reports and insights to management to inform strategic decisions.
Customer Feedback & Reporting:
Collect and report customer feedback to improve service delivery and product offerings.
Maintain accurate records of visits, customer interactions, and outcomes using CRM tools or field reporting templates.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales or customer relationship roles, preferably in the FMCG or beverage/alcohol industry.
Valid driver’s license (at least 2 years old) and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer-focused with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good understanding of sales processes and customer service principles.
Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting tools is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
This is a field-based role with frequent travel to client locations.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for promotional events or urgent client needs.
