We are seeking a reliable and responsible Courier Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers and other business units, ensuring timely and accurate service. The Courier Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Responsibilities:

Package Delivery: Safely and timely deliver packages to customers following established routes and schedules.
Verify the accuracy of packages before delivery and confirm receipt with customers.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
Report any vehicle issues promptly and coordinate with the maintenance department for repairs.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions and addressing customer inquiries.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery confirmation, mileage, and any issues encountered during the delivery process.
Complete required paperwork and obtain necessary signatures.

Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery protocols, safety regulations, and traffic laws.
Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.

Time Management: Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and optimize route efficiency.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 Certificate
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of local traffic patterns and routes.
Ability to speak, read and write in English and Nyanja. Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift and carry packages
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
