Fixed-term – 12 months
Rate / Salary:
3,865.20 ZMW gross per month (inclusive of allowances). A sales related incentive bonus scheme is also available

Role Overview
The District Coordinator will work closely with key stakeholders and shall be directly responsible for planning, executing, and managing sales of Namene clean energy products in the districts they are responsible for. They will recruit, capacity-build and supervise a team of sales and After-Sales agents in the districts, alongside managing products, stock and organisational resources.
Responsibilities include

Ensure all operations in the district are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way.

Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee stock management and warehouse processes at district level.

Ensure the organisation’s processes remain compliant with district procedures and processes.

Formulate an operational work plan and weekly and monthly team targets in the district.

Manage the district budgets.

Identify ways to improve the quality of customer service in the district.

Planning, reporting, and scheduling of site visits and sales of clean energy products in the district.

Provide local quality control in the data collection and management for the projects in the district.

Identify, manage, and securing local warehouse/storage.

Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.

Help determine pricing schedules for promotions, negotiations, and light donations.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Responsible for lead generation and product sales for lights and other products in the assigned districts.

Ensure complete capture of sales data at point of sale by sales agents and provide local quality control in data collection and management for projects in the district.

Manage and retain relationships with existing clients, and train Sales Agents

Provide local assistance to troubleshoot and report back to the After Sales Manager on warranty issues and provide records of lights repaired or replaced and their faults

Regularly travel to project sites to supervise distribution activities.

Manage and track performance of a team of sales and after sales agents

Collect and Deposit cash from Sales agents.
Candidate requirements
Essential
-
Field based experience in business to consumers sales is a must
-
Excellent team player
-
Ability to lead an effective team and delegate tasks and responsibilities as appropriate

A diploma level qualification in sales, business administration (or similar), or equivalent work experience

Strong skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and the use of databases
