Description
The Dangote Cement Zambia is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans based on rough sketches, specifications, and other design information provided by engineers and architects. You will use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and other tools to develop detailed and precise drawings of structures, machinery, and components for construction and manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to gather design specifications and requirements.
Create clear and accurate technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software.
Review and analyze rough sketches, drawings, and other design information to prepare detailed construction and manufacturing drawings.
Ensure that all drawings adhere to standards and specifications.
Make necessary modifications and revisions to drawings as requested.
Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of drawings.
Maintain a library of drawings, specifications, and other design documents.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD software and techniques.

Requirements
Associate degree or certification in drafting, CAD technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in using CAD software (such as AutoCAD) to create technical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of architectural, structural, and mechanical drafting principles and techniques.
Experience in creating drawings for construction and manufacturing projects.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
