The National Prosecution Authority (NPA) is an autonomous body established by the NPA Act No. 34 of 2010. Its mission is to “provide prosecution services to contribute to a crime free Zambia’. In its quest to improve service delivery, the Authority is hereby inviting applications from suitable candidates to fill the following position:
1. Driver Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: NPA/09
Number of positions: Five (5)
Reports to: Head Driver
Duty Stations: Headquarters (2), Lusaka Province (3)
Job Purpose
To drive vehicles for the Authority in order to facilitate the mobility of officers, materials
and equipment.
Specific Duties and Requirements:

Drives safely and regularly in order to facilitate officer’s attendance to official duties;

Prepares timely accidents reports in order to facilitate decision making;
-
Completes timely log books to enhance the accountability of journeys; and
-
Undertakes regularly basic vehicle inspection in order to ascertain its road worthiness.
Qualifications and Work Experience
-
Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate or its equivalent;
-
Trade Test Certificate, will be added advantage;
-
Valid Driver’s Licence;
-
At least two (2) years work experience; and
-
Must be a Zambian citizen.

Able to write reports

Able to communicate in English

Sober habits and confidentiality

Computer literate
