The Company Seeks the Services of a Driver – Light Van/Lorry x4

Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

• Drive the ambulance / company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner to prolong their life span.
• Observes the Highway Code and health regulations to avoid endangering passengers and other road uses
• Ensure that the ambulance is road worthy and meet all the statutory requirements before driving out
• Keep to time and avoid time wasting to minimize disruption of service at the Plant site Clinics.
• Carry out routine pre-shift vehicle checks and adheres to servicing schedule to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
• Maintain vehicle to required standard of cleanliness for hygienic purposes
• Drive the health, safety and environment standards/policy awareness and practice in the Department to ensure compliance.
• Facilitate SLAM (Stop Look and Manage), Mopani Communication (MCom), training.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Class C Driving License.
• 2 Years work experience
• Good Problem-solving skills
• All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualification Authority.
• Defensive driving knowledge is added advantage

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
