The University of Ndola is a Proposed University established to operate in the City of Ndola right in the Central Business District along Buteko Avenue Opposite Savoy Hotel. The Ndola University (Proposed) is a yet to be registered Higher Learning Institution with the Higher Education Authority (HEA) as a Private University College mandated to train students in various Diplomas and Degree programmes. As it rolls out its presence on the Copperbelt and beyond, The Ndola University (TUN) (Proposed) has embarked on recruitment of critical staff of high caliber to fill vacant positions. DRIVER 2 Positions
JOB PURPOSE
To carry out all the driving duties of the university
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Driving the university vehicles, maintaining vehicles in good condition and minor vehicle services,
-
Filling log book, always keeping the vehicle clean, and helping with other administrative errands
-
Driving members of staff and students to different destinations and carrying out any given responsibilities by line managers

Interact with clients professionally at all times
-
Ensuring that the vehicle(s) are fueled and ready for use Arranging for vehicle repairs as needed.

Keeping mileage records and repair records up-to-date and able to handle minor repairs
-
Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule.

Performing any other lawful duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualification and Experience
The University seeks an individual with
-
Minimum of Grade 12 certificate or higher
-
A valid driver’s license with clean record
-
Motor vehicle mechanics certificate and defensive driving certificate will be an added advantage
-
Familiar with Road Transport Safety Agency rules and regulations
