About the job

Role

You’ll be working within an education company that runs a wide range of high-impact education programmes. The Programme Coordinator will provide core support for the programmes team and will be responsible for operations and coordination of programmes, as well as continually communicating and gathering feedback from the students, volunteers and families that engage with our programmes. Your work will involve leading on pupil registration, managing parent communication, and recruitment of volunteers to assist on the various programmes.

As an Education Programme Coordinator you will also be monitoring data, to ensure that we are capturing our impact, which will enable us to reach more students to join our education programmes. You will be the first point of contact for students, parents and volunteers, and you will ensure that our education programmes are streamlined, automated, running smoothly, so that students, tutors, mentors, and parents have an engaging, educational and enjoyable experience with our education programmes.

Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in:

  • Reviewing applications for candidates that have applied to our education programmes
  • Ensuring that payment has been received
  • Onboarding new students and their families to ensure that have a good understanding of our programmes
  • Setting up online workshops, group coaching sessions and other online activities involved within the programme
  • Recruitment, onboarding and management of volunteer tutors and mentors
  • Customer support and service, responding to new enquiries
  • Providing a prompt response to new enquiries and resolving any issues as soon as they arise
  • Gathering feedback & collecting data from students and parents
  • Producing and submitting internal and external end-of-programme reports including all of the necessary data
  • Assisting with other tasks in order to meet the company’s mission and vision

  • You take programme ownership and remain responsible and accountable for the smooth coordination of all programmes including student onboarding
  • You have a positive attitude and are committed to building positive relationships with all staff and external stakeholders including parents, students, volunteers, and funders
  • You are capable of juggling a number of deadlines and prioritising the most time-sensitive tasks and projects.
  • You build skills within the company by attending external courses, running internal training & development courses and supporting other staff to grow within the organisation.

Requirements

We’ll consider candidates that have:

  • Relevant Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience of report preparation and formatting of documents including spreadsheets and word documents.
  • Experience of working with a range of databases or CRM systems including all aspects of data gathering and migration, input and monitoring.
  • Have strong project management support skills and a systematic approach to work.
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • Have excellent IT Skills (including Google Suite).

Essentials

  • We’re looking for team members that can work up to 40 hours/week, with a minimum of 20 hours/week
  • Working hours are typically Mon-Friday 8am-5pm (UK time)
  • Be able to work from home (using a quiet space)
  • Have fast, reliable landline internet connection (ADSL or fibre)
  • You will not be able to use mobile internet as this role requires high-quality consistent internet use
  • Have your own desktop or laptop with a minimum I3 processor and 4GB RAM
  • Have a backup power solution such as a UPS, inverter or generator
  • You will be provided full training for your role
  • The pay will be £3.50 per hour (Non-negotiable)
