Reports to: Factory Manager

Co-ordination with: Engg Head / Finance head /Admin Head / Agriculture head

Subordinates:

– Electrical Engineers

– Instrumentation Engineer

– Electricians

– Instrumentation Technicians

Function and Purpose of Role:

Will be whole & sole responsible of for administration and operation of E&I Department

Will be responsible for R&M Expenditure within budget , CAPEX Expenditure and complete performance of E&I Department operation and maintenance

Duties and Job responsibility:

Will be whole & sole responsible for preventive & periodical maintenance to ensure the uptime of all electrical motors and its accessories respective to sugar plant and irrigation including resource planning & organizing

Have complete knowledge on operation & maintenance of all Electrical distribution system, Motors, MCCs, starters, circuit breakers, HT & LT transformers, interlock systems and electrical accessories respect to various section of sugar plant.

Have complete knowledge on preventive maintenance planning, scheduling & resource organizing for complete electrical distribution system & motors

Ability to increase productivity/production by reducing downtime, reduce turnaround time getting defects removed / repaired during critical breakdowns.

Ensure adequate spares for all rotating equipments related to motors, electrical distribution system & its accessories

Minimize R & M Expenditure by continuous improvement process & efficient inventory control, waste control

Ability to minimize turnaround time during break down by ensuring adequate running spares & explicit planning and execution of remedial works

Have efficient compliance and efficient control on safety system and measures

Have good knowledge on route cause analysis for Problem Solving and Decision Making.

Ability in identifying and developing constant innovation and creativity skills

Have Team Building Skills – skill to develop team goals, and team productivity through creating common intent and mutual encouragement and appreciation

Have good Presentation Skills – Knowledge on what makes an effective presentation.

Be sure that factory fire protection and other safety precaution are adequately provided and maintained in excellent order.

Insist on good house-keeping

Ensure that all communication media are implemented and being effectively followed.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Minimum 15 years’ experience in sugar plant /co-generation plant
