Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lusaka. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components.
• Conduct research and analyze data to develop new products and improve existing ones.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., EIZ) preferred.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
