Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Zambia for an Electrical Foreman/OHTE. The Electrical Foreman/OHTE will oversee day-to-day operations, including supervising staff, managing the maintenance and installation of overhead traction equipment (OHTE), and coordinating with other contractors and teams. Responsibilities also include ensuring safety protocols, managing heavy equipment, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills and strong Communication abilities
• Experience with Heavy Equipment operations and maintenance
• Skills in Maintenance tasks
• Electrical qualifications and experience in OHTE (Overhead Traction Equipment) systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Relevant certifications or training in electrical or railway engineering is a plus
• 1-2 years of OHTE construction, preferably in a mining or industrial environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
