LOCATION: MULTI FACILITY ECONOMIC ZONE (MFEZ), LUSAKA

ENGINEERING STOREKEEPER

Reporting to the Engineering Store Manager, the role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the engineering storeroom. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records of materials and supplies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management
Stock control.
Receive stocks from vendors/ Suppliers through procurement department, inspect and accept or reject them depending on the quality and specifications given.
Storage and organization
Consolidate daily activities, monitor, and report on all issues within the stores to review, establish, and advise on stock levels for timely replenishment of stock.
Compile Reports on Shortages, Losses, and Obsolete or Expired Stock
Record keeping.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Full Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in Stores / Warehouse Management or relevant equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in storekeeping, inventory management or related field
Familiarity with engineering materials, tools and equipment is an added advantage.
Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and basic office software.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
Physical fitness to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Level of Education: Associate Degree
