Job Title: Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

Adroit Engineering Construction Limited is seeking a professional to fill the role of  Environmental Health, and Safety Manager. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of work experience, including at least 2 in a management role within environmental, health, and safety, specifically in a construction environment.

In this pivotal role, the selected candidate will lead and coordinate safety, health, and environmental initiatives at the Site. Responsible for managing overall safety, health, and environmental systems, the OSHE Manager will ensure strict compliance with legal requirements to minimize pure risk, litigation exposure, and adverse publicity.

Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum of a Degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety Management or equivalent. Skills in Risk management/assessment will be an added advantage.
• Safety and Environmental Certifications as required
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience within Health & Safety in a Construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the site’s comprehensive safety, health, and environmental initiatives.
• Development of Environmental Health and Safety policies and programs.
• Ensure and assure OSHE legal compliance to minimize pure risk, litigation exposure, and adverse publicity.
• Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing safety and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety culture and minimize potential risks.
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
