Job Vacancy: Farm Manager

Job Description:

Apex is seeking an experienced and organized Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of our farm. The Farm Manager will be responsible for managing farm staff, planning and implementing farming activities, and ensuring the farm’s profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and livestock management.
• Manage farm staff and provide training and supervision.
• Develop and implement farm plans and schedules.
• Monitor and maintain farm equipment and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Manage farm finances and prepare budgets and reports.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Farm Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of farming practices and principles.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in farm management software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in farm management.
