About the Project:
Skills to Live Zambia is implementing a Mobile Vocational Training Program under the regional SRHR initiative (PAMUNYE). This innovative program is designed to deliver skills development directly to underserved and vulnerable communities while improving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) outcomes and empowering youth for sustainable livelihoods.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Field Assistant to support our mobile training operations in Monze District. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, managing, and reporting training and monitoring data using digital tools like Kobo Toolbox and Excel. The role also includes coordination with field teams to ensure smooth implementation and reporting of program activities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Accurately capture data from training sessions, assessments, and community outreach activities
– Enter and manage data using Kobo Toolbox and other digital platforms
– Ensure data quality, completeness, and confidentiality
– Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and updates for internal and external use.
– Coordinate with trainers, community leaders, and field officers for effective program delivery
– Support logistical activities and field mobilization as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
– Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O-levels, including English and Mathematics
– Minimum of a diploma in Social Sciences, Public Health, IT, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field
– Proficiency in Kobo Toolbox or other digital data collection platforms
– Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
– Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or similar tools
– Must be a resident of Monze or surrounding areas
– Experience in community-based programs will be an added advantage
– Ability to ride a motorcycle and possession of a valid license is an added advantage
