Job Vacancy: Field Engineer

Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is looking for a dynamic and experienced Field Engineer to provide on-site technical support and oversee field operations in Lusaka. The Field Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance on-site.
• Oversee and coordinate field operations and activities.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field.
• Prepare and present field reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of field operations and engineering practices.
• Proficiency in field management software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork and project management skills.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in field engineering.
