Korea Food for the Hungry International Zambia is a faith-based organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities through an integrated holistic program that focuses on improving wellbeing of the children and their communities.
To achieve this mission, KFHIZ is committed to attract and retain the qualified and dedicated employees and is now looking for individuals to fill the following positions to be based in Ndola .
1. FINANCE OFFICER
Job summary:
The Finance Officer will be responsible for administering the financial records and processes of the Organization, including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and benefits, banking, insurance, and all related financial and office administration.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer all financial systems and processes of the organization including general ledgers, internal accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll (including all stipends), statutory remittances, insurance, budget monitoring, and other financial systems and processes as required

Monitor and record all cash disbursements, expenditures, and receipts of the organization, ensuring timely, effective, and accurate record keeping

Ensure appropriate policies procedures, and processes with respect to financial transactions are followed

Maintain and oversee the Organization’s banking systems (including but not limited to accounts, statements, records, and institutional arrangements).

Ensure all organization departments are providing timely, accurate, and appropriate financial reporting and remittances, including invoices, cash reports, and all other relevant financial information and records

Perform month-end and year-end procedures including, but not limited to preparing all month-end reconciliations and year-end working papers for the Organization’s annual audit

Provide regular reports on all organization’s financial activities as required and directed by the finance Manager

Maintain the confidentiality of the organization’s financial business and other private information and records

Support Finance Manager and top management with projects and tasks when required.
Required skills and experience.
1. Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/ finance or equivalent
2. Membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
3. Experience with QuickBooks software
4. At least 3-5 years of experience in the finance field
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
7. A devoted Christian member.
8. Work experience in an International NGO is an added advantage.
2. EDUCATION PROGRAM OFFICER
Job Summary
The Education Program Officer is responsible for managing and supporting school-based clubs and extracurricular activities. The Education program Officer is involved in designing and implementing programs, coordinating with school staff and pupils, and ensuring the smooth operation of club activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Program Design and Implementation: Developing and implementing engaging and educational club programs that align with KFHIZ and partnered schools goals and pupil’s interests.

Coordination and Communication: Working with teachers, pupils, and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Event Management: Planning and organizing club events, activities, and competitions.

Resource Management: Managing budgets, supplies, and other resources related to the clubs.

Pupils Engagement: Recruiting, training, and supporting pupil club leaders.

Data Collection and Reporting: Tracking pupil participation, program outcomes, and reporting on program progress.

Evaluation and Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving club programs based on student feedback and program data.

Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with community members, leaders, and beneficiaries.

Coordination with Partners: Collaborate with local partnered schools to enhance the effectiveness of program initiatives.
Required skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, development studies, social sciences, or related fields.

At least 3 years of experience in School program in an international organization, preferably in the NGO context.

A devoted Christian member.

Excellent communicator, both written and verbal in Bemba and English
