About the Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Manager / Director to lead their financial operations. As a Financial Manager / Director, you will be instrumental in
driving financial strategy
, ensuring
compliance
and providing
strategic guidance to senior management

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning
: Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
maintain and monitor annual budgets and forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.

Strategic Insights:
Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.

Team Leadership and Development:
Leading and managing the finance and accounting team. Setting targets and performance goals for finance personnel. Providing guidance and support to team members

Cost Management:
Analyze expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve profitability.

Risk Management:
Manage risk by conducting daily and/or regular reconciliations, putting financial systems in place, and ensuring the company’s financial stability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive growth.

Financial Record Management:
Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records, transactions and documentation.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

ZICA
or
other relevant professional certification
.

Minimum 4 years
experience
in Audit as an
audit manager
.
-
Minimum of 4 years of
experience
in
financial management
, with expertise in
forecasting, analysis and reporting.

Strong knowledge of
accounting principles, financial markets
, and
regulatory requirements.
-
Excellent
analytical, communication
and
leadership skills.
-
Proven
track record of success
in financial management and strategic planning.
-
Experience in
risk management
and
financial instruments.
-
Advanced proficiency in
financial software, Sage
experience would be advantageous, as well as advanced proficiency in
Excel.
