Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of the financial function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Identifying trends and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Managing and motivating the finance team.
• Maintaining a strong internal control environment.
• Liaising with external auditors.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
• Proven ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior-level business partners.
• Strong business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of accounting software.
• Completion of articles (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) highly recommended.
• Must be a Zambian citizen or possess a valid work permit to work in Zambia.
