Job Description:
Chikondi Capital is seeking a Freight Forwarder to manage the transportation and logistics of goods across international and domestic routes. The Freight Forwarder will be responsible for coordinating shipments, negotiating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage freight forwarding activities including booking and tracking shipments.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and logistics providers.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation and records.
• Resolve any issues or delays in the shipping process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Freight Forwarder or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Excellent organizational and negotiation skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in freight forwarding.
