POSITION: Payroll Accountant
REPORTS TO: Finance Controller
LOCATION: Lusaka
GENERAL SUMMARY
Accurate and timeous processing of Employee’s Salaries and remittance of statutory returns such as Social Security (NAPSA), NHIMA and Income Tax on time to ensure compliance with the law.
Principle duties and Responsibilities:

Calculate and process employee salaries and wages.

Review and verify timesheets and attendance records.
-
Process special payments for overtime, leaves and Gratuities.
-
Prepare NAPSA, NHIMA and PAYE schedules and Submit returns of the same.
-
Stay updated with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
-
Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and deductions.
-
Prepare and generate payroll reports for management review.
-
Ensure compliance with Labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
-
Address payroll-related queries and concerns from employees.
-
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
-
Provide support during internal and external audits related to payroll.
-
Utilize payroll software and tools to streamline payroll processes.
Technical Competencies and Skills:

Computer Literate in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Navision System

Organized and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Education/Professional Qualification and experience:
-
Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of five (5) Credits or better, including English and Mathematics.

Advanced ZICA Diploma with not less than 3 years’ experience in payroll processing using Microsoft Navision system.

Must have a valid ZICA membership certification.
POSITION: Procurement & Stores Officer
REPORTS TO: Financial Controller
LOCATION: Lusaka
GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the position is responsible for coordinating and initiating purchase orders and procurement of goods and services for the company and conducting research to determine procurement of goods and services at competitive prices.
Principle duties and Responsibilities:

Implements procurement plans by initiating purchase orders for submission to prospective suppliers.

To manage the operation of an Inventory System to effectively control stocks and avoid overstocking, stock-outs, and always ensure correct usage.
-
Plan and coordinate the replenishment of inventory to ensure smooth operations for all departments in the company.
-
Carry out spot checks to verify the accuracy of stock records and ensure that inventories are secure and safe to prevent losses/damages.
-
Design and review stores record-keeping system for the efficient management of stock.
-
Review and recommend identified redundant and obsolete stock for disposal.
-
Prepare and produce periodic reports on the operations of the company’s section for management’s decision-making.

Contribute to the development and review of Stores Procedures Manual to ensure compliance and efficiency of store management.
-
Assist in the preparation of annual budget and procurement planning for all stock items to meet annual operational requirements.

Monitors procurement progress on all planned activities.
-
Tracks vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
-
Maintains and updates suppliers’ register.
-
Reviews purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy and follow up on discrepancies with the initiating department.

Collects quotations and prepares comparative analysis.
-
Maintains procurement files and records.
-
Prepares and processes standard procurement documents.
Education/Professional Qualification and experience:
-
Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of five (5) Credits or better, including English and Mathematics.

Minimum of Professional Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.
-
Three (3) years practical work experience in the field.
-
Conversant with Zambian Procurement Laws.
-
Must be a fully paid-up Member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) with a 2023 Practicing License.
-
Must be Computer literate.

Must possess a Valid Driver’s license.
POSITION: Commercial Accountant
REPORTS TO: Finance Controller
LOCATION: Lusaka
GENERAL SUMMARY
Reporting to the Finance Controller, the position is responsible for coordinating and initiating purchase orders and procurement of goods and services for the company and conducting research to determine procurement of goods and services at competitive prices.
Principle duties and Responsibilities:

Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
-
Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments.
-
Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status.
-
Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
-
Handle questions or complaints
-
Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
-
Create trust relationships with debtors, when possible, to avoid future issues.
-
Update account status and database regularly
-
Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary.
-
Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
-

Education/Professional Qualification and experience:

Must have a valid ZICA membership certification.

Proven experience as commercial Accountant

Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines.

Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
-
Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
-
Excellent communication and people skills
