Job Purpose

The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:

  • Cleanliness and Maintenance – including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and spot cleaning glasses and windows.
  • Aesthetic upkeep of rooms – including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors and cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Change linens, wash dishes, and do light ironing and laundry.
  • Sets up, stocks and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor and maintains sanitation and organisation of assigned areas to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Maintain good housekeeping.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate.
  • At least 1 year experience in a similar position.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of the team.

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
