Geologist

Job Description: Emerald Edge is seeking a knowledgeable Geologist to conduct research on Earth’s materials, processes, and history. The Geologist will be responsible for fieldwork, data analysis, and providing insights into geological formations and natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field surveys and collect geological samples for analysis.
Analyze geological data and prepare reports on findings.
Develop models and maps of geological formations and resources.
Assess the impact of geological conditions on construction projects and environmental factors.
Collaborate with other scientists and engineers on geological research and projects.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of geological processes and techniques.
Proficiency in geological mapping and data analysis.
Ability to work in various field conditions and handle geological equipment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in geological software and data analysis tools.
Strong observational and analytical skills.
Excellent fieldwork and report-writing abilities.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in geology or a related role.
