Graphic Designer – Intern (1) Lusaka

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Graphic Designer on a one-year Contract to create engaging and on-brand graphics for our Company.

The candidate should be a creative and talented graphic designer with a strong ability to translate requirements into designs. The graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements to create engaging visual content
• Design eye-catching visuals, graphics, and layouts for various marketing materials
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software as Affinity Designer, CorelDraw, Cursor and Adobe packages
• Use appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic across various media and maintain a consistent brand identity across all projects.
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing.
• Provide end-user IT support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Should possess minimum Diploma in marketing, graphic design Technology or an IT related field
• Should be skilled with adobe suite ( Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and more), Figma
• Should be knowledgeable of excellent design principles and trends
• Should be very creative and innovative with a keen eye for aesthetics
• Open minded to new ideas and able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• The candidate should possess at least one years’ experience.
