Head Cook – Masterpork (Chongwe) (01)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
• Ensuring the foods supplied are of good quality and fit for human consumption.
• Ensuring that food supplies are properly managed includes knowing the Division’s headcount.
• Ensuring that the canteen and the surroundings are clean (i.e., dining tables, chairs, etc.)
• Ensuring that the food is properly cooked and served to employees on time so that they go back to work without wasting too much time.
• Ensuring that all the canteen staff observe maximum cleanliness and canteen rules.
• Liaising with Human Resources Advisor on the poor time keeping of employees and report any cases of indiscipline.
• Ensuring that the canteen doesn’t run out of food as a result of poor planning.
• Liaising with all Heads of Departments on issues of canteen changes such as eating timetable, in case of any unforeseen circumstances.
The Required Qualifications are:
• Grade GCE/12 certificate with 5 credits.
• Certificate in Hotel Management Services/ Catering.
• 3 years minimum experience.
