Job Description
Century Loans Limited is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Accounts to lead our finance and accounting operations. This role requires a leader with a strong foundation in financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. You will oversee the entire accounts department, ensuring robust financial health, accurate reporting, and seamless integration of financial strategies into business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the accounting department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Operational Oversight:
Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Tax Compliance:
Manage and ensure timely filings and regulatory compliance while minimizing tax liabilities.

Budgeting and Financial Planning:
Direct and oversee all budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
Experience and Qualifications

Experience in leadership roles within an accounting or finance department.

Degree in Accountancy or Finance and/or recognized accounting qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA, ZICA

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting standards, tax regulations and tax compliance.

Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
