Head of Market Development

The Head of Market Development will play a crucial role in driving the reinsurer’s growth and enhancing its market presence. This position involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize client engagement and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities:
– Devise and execute a targeted go-to-market strategy that aligns with company objectives.
– Identify new market opportunities to build a solid pipeline of potential clients and partnerships.
– Use advanced analytics to drive strategy and decision-making.
– Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients and brokers, ensuring high-quality service.
– Develop and manage client and broker relationship frameworks, including CRM system implementation.
– Lead and guide senior underwriters and regional managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and communication.
– Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
– At least 10 years of experience in market development or client relationship management within reinsurance or financial services.
– Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse, remote teams.
– Strong analytical and strategic capabilities, with excellent communication skills.
– In-depth knowledge of reinsurance markets and regulatory environments.
– Proficient in CRM and data analytics tools.
