As Head of Sales, you are responsible for our Sales Teams and their performance both in Zambia and Rwanda. Key elements are:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your core activities will be:

boosting the growth of SPENN Business,
-
increase monthly recurring revenue of SPENN Business clients in both Rwanda and Zambia
-
and building two strong and high-performing sales teams, one in each country.
All your duties and responsibilities will be in line with these three elements. Here’s an overview of i.e., the daily tasks and responsibilities.

Design a thorough sales and distribution approach, that includes account management, to maximize sales opportunities and hit our goals.

Set individual and team targets in line with the KPIs.

Create and maintain a business atmosphere that prioritizes customers implementing great sales practices and offering extensive after-sales care.

Provide everyday help to the sales team in selling products and managing client relationships. Be a role model and show the way.

Boost B2B sales by reaching out to potential customers through calls and visits to introduce and highlight SPENNs products and services.

Evaluate how each team member is performing, both individually and in relation to the KPIs we’ve set.

Identify, recruit, and prepare new sales employees.
-
Create, train, guide, and oversee the team members in sales and account management.

Build an atmosphere that allows the sales teams to succeed by working together and efficiently.

Use our CRM and other software available to maintain an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, customer demands, needs and preferences.

Always know the status of the sales pipeline.

Forecast and budget both sales teams.

Keep top management informed with weekly and monthly updates
-
Monitor products, market conditions, competitor activities, and advertising trends, and use these insights to create business opportunities.

Notify management about potential improvements and adjustments to products so that they meet the needs of the market.

Take on various Sales and Marketing duties as required by the company.

Participate in training to learn about the latest products and services.
-
Keep getting better by listening to and requesting feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Furthermore:

Previous management experience in customer service/sales environment preferred.

Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills

Understanding of sales dynamics and processes.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices (HubSpot)

Familiarity with reporting

Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Motivated and target-driven

Excellent problem-solving and networking skills.

Knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite

Fluent in English (speaking and writing) and preferred fluent Kinyarwanda (speaking and writing).
