Okavango Foods Limited is seeking a Head Waiter to join our dynamic catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing buffet setups, managing décor and presentation, and coordinating part-time waiters to ensure seamless service at our events.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and supervise buffet set-up, décor, and presentation to meet company standards.

Manage, train, and schedule part-time waiters for events.

Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction during buffets and catered functions.

Work closely with the catering and operations team to deliver high-quality service.

Maintain cleanliness, order, and adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Skills

Full Grade 12 Certificate.

Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or related field (an added advantage).

Practical experience in hotel or catering service may substitute for formal academic qualifications.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in catering, events, or hospitality.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and people management abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver in fast-paced environments.
