Position Overview
M31 Research is seeking experienced HIV Consultants to join our team in Zambia. We are looking for professionals with a strong background in working with international organisations such as UNICEF, USAID, and World Bank. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in conducting HIV Assessments, Evaluations, and providing Technical Assistance, particularly in Zambia, to support the fight against HIV/AIDS and improve the lives of affected populations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and participate in HIV-related assessments, evaluations, and research projects in Zambia, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client and stakeholder needs.

Provide technical assistance and advisory support to international organisations, government bodies, and other stakeholders in designing, implementing, and evaluating HIV programmes.

Develop and review project proposals, technical reports, and other documentation related to HIV interventions, tailored to the Zambian context.

Conduct data analysis and interpret findings to inform HIV policy development and programme decisions.

Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, healthcare professionals, government officials, and donors, to ensure the relevance and impact of HIV initiatives.

Stay updated on the latest trends, research, and best practices in HIV prevention, care, and treatment, with a focus on applications within Zambia.
Qualifications and Experience

A Master’s or PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, or a related field with a focus on HIV/AIDS.

A minimum of seven years of professional experience in the HIV sector, with substantial experience working with international organisations such as UNICEF, USAID, WHO, or other major donors.

Demonstrated experience in conducting HIV assessments, evaluations, and providing technical assistance in Zambia.

Expertise in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of HIV programmes, with a focus on achieving sustainable and impactful results.

Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.

Familiarity with data collection tools and methodologies relevant to HIV evaluations.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
