Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join their team in Lusaka, Zambia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Resources within the FMCG industry. This role will be pivotal in managing all HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and supporting strategic goals by fostering a positive and productive work environment.
HR Strategy Development: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the company.
Recruitment and Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of new staff. Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop employees.
Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, ensuring that performance standards are maintained and that feedback is constructive and aligned with company goals.
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with company policies.
HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure effective and consistent management of staff.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics and generate reports to inform management decisions and track HR effectiveness.
Workforce Planning: Manage workforce planning and forecasting to ensure the organization has the right number of employees with the right skills at the right time.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources ,Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-10 years of HR management experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational and leadership abilities, and proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
