Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lusaka Province, Zambia for an HR Operations Senior Officer. The Senior Officer will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to HR management, HR policies, employee relations, job description development, and more. They will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting the overall functioning of the organization’s HR department.

Qualifications

• HR Management, HR Policies, and Human Resources (HR) expertise
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and best practices
• Experience in job description development and implementation
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in HR software and systems
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in HR or related fields

Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for the role include experience in labor law compliance, talent acquisition strategies, and HR analytics. Prior experience in a similar position or in the Zambian labor market would also be advantageous.
