Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Strategically implement the company HSEC strategy.
- Ensure the HSEC policy is rolled out to operational employees.
- Reporting of leading and lagging indicators LTIFR, TIFR, TRCR.
- Investigating/recording incidents, accidents and cases relating to Occupational Health and Safety.
- HSE induction to all levels of management and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety.
- Undertake risk assessments for all jobs hand in hand with Heads of Departments and enforce preventive measures.
- Perform legal and operational HSE inspections and ensure a CAPA register is maintained.
- Promote the reporting of near misses and at-risk behaviours and conditions.
- Work with teams daily to drive a robust HSE culture.
- Determine critical risks and strategically plan to implement prevention plans. Identify and analyse leading indicators to provide technical HSE reports.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of plant and equipment operations.
- HSE auditing skills. Recognized HSE qualification for the industry (Safety, Environmental, Health, Risk)
- Excellent excel and power point presentation skills.
- Risk identification skills.
- Work with a team and lead the operational HSE strategy.
- Conduct incident investigations.
