The
HR & Admin Manager
, will be responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions, including recruiting, onboarding, training and development, compensation, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. S/he will also be responsible for managing administrative functions within the HR department
Job Responsibilities:

Provide advice and counsel to Country CEO, direct reports, senior managers on staff labor regulatory requirements

Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team providing leadership and input to management peers regarding developments and trends in the labor market.

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the organization’s goals and culture

Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with all employment laws
-
Manage employee performance and development process, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback

Develop and implement employee training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively

Administer employee benefits programs, including NHIMA, NAPSA, and other benefits

Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and resolution of employee complaints as well as overseeing the disciplinary processes and procedures

Maintain compliance with all local employment laws and regulations

Manage the HR budget and report on HR metrics to management and the board

Local Board reporting
-
Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints

Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation

Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities (e.g. electricians, plumbers etc.)

Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.)
Academic Qualifications and Expectations:
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree in human resources or related field will be an added advantage.

At least 5-7 years of experience in an HR leadership role, with a minimum of 3 years in an administrative role.

Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, Industrial relations and labour laws.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Conflict resolution skills

Ability to develop and implement HR strategies and programs
-
Experience in managing and developing teams
-
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing and mentoring staff.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other HR software applications.
-
Full membership in the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) is MUST.
Reporting Line
The Human Resource & Administration Manager shall report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Compensation & Benefits

Gross monthly salary ZMW20,000

2-year Contract (Renewable; Performance dependent)

Gratuity – 25% of basic at end of contract
