, becoming the largest recruitment platform in the country and connecting people to jobs and jobs to people. Our client in the mining industry is actively seeking to recruit a Human Resource Assistant to join their team in Mamba, Southern Province, Zambia.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT will be responsible for handling the daily administrative and HR duties. They will be responsible for assisting HR managers with recruitment, record maintenance, and providing clerical support to all employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all the recruitment process
• Coordinate communication with prospective candidates and schedule interviews for recruitment purposes
• Preparation of inputs for the payroll.
• Manage all HR-related monthly reports.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts and management of the filing system.
• Updating company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details.
• Assist in handling disciplinary cases.
• Assisting in the planning of company events.
• Coordinating new hire orientations.
• Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department)
• Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
• Assist in the management of leaves, working hours, and bank accounts.
• Any other duties assigned by the HR department.
Education & Experience
• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 Years’ Experience in a Manufacturing or Mining Sector
• Must be familiar with the Zambian labour laws
• The company will provide a housing facility and daily food
• Good Communication skills and presentation
• Team player, Alert and Self-Driven
• Member of ZIHRM
• Must be able to achieve given targets and should be able to work under minimum supervision
• Ability to speak the local language will be an added advantage
