|
Job Aim:
Serves as strategic HR business partner in designated function/s, enabling achievement of the function business plans and targets, aligned to the Organisation’s overall strategic objective of long term growth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
|
Job Accountabilities:
Business Partnership, Leadership and Governance

Oversee the implementation of the HR Strategy, ensuring a tailored approach for the function’s current and future needs and dynamics.

Ensure governance and compliance with labour laws, educating and socialising local practices with leaders.
Accelerating Talent
-
Implement talent development strategies aligned with P&C and business objectives to foster talent advancement.

Use data analytics to address talent acquisition challenges and build a skilled talent pipeline.

Support leadership by anticipating talent needs, localizing sourcing strategies, and tailoring the employer brand.

Prioritize internal talent development by identifying and developing high-potential employees for rapid growth and succession planning.
Cost Ownership

Ensure financial accountability by partnering with Line to streamline operations and reduce labor costs, including headcount approval.

Align with regional reward approaches within the group strategy, maintaining financial governance for responsible resource management and equitable reward practices.
Organizational Design for Growth

Optimize organizational design by monitoring key metrics and maintaining optimal spans of control and management ratios.

Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and building change capability in leaders and employees.

Focus on team effectiveness, leveraging strengths to develop capabilities for achieving organizational goals.
High-Performance Culture and Transformation

Instil a high-performance mindset and methodologies across Plants and/or Functions, promoting a culture where excellence is cultivated and recognized.

Align and integrate learning and development initiatives with business strategies, ensuring continuous performance improvement.

Provide on-the-ground support for employer relations (ER) matters, harmonizing ER at a local level to facilitate a positive ER climate and ensure organizational harmony and productivity.

Champion health and wellbeing programs, alongside diversity and inclusion policies, to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications

Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree, with post graduate HR qualification, or equivalent.
Added advantage: Master’s degree in HR Management/Business Management or equivalent
Experience:
-
Summary: 10+ years of HR leadership experience in both operational and corporate settings.
-
Key experiences include aligning P&C with local business needs, driving cultural shifts, and advancing Diversity & Inclusion. Experience managing the full people and culture function in large markets, overseeing budgets, planning resources, and guiding organizational change critical.
