JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Oversee day-to-day operations of all Human Resource department staff and tasks.

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and industry standards

Collaborate with senior management to ensure HR strategies contribute to overall business success.

Oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates.

Develop retention strategies to minimize turnover and promote employee engagement.

Serve as a point of contact for employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.

Implement policies and procedures to maintain a fair and respectful workplace environment.

Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure timely resolution

Design and administer performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance

Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.

Identify training and development needs to enhance employee performance and career growth.

Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness within the industry
-
Stay updated on legislative changes related to employee benefits and ensure compliance.

Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in accordance with labor laws and industry regulations.

Serve as the key point of contact for the Zambia Ministry of Labour and all recognised unions.
