JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Officer plays a key role in supporting the company’s employee-related initiatives and operations. The individual will be responsible for assisting in various HR functions, such as recruitment, on-boarding, training, performance evaluation, employee relations, and compliance with labour laws and company policies. The HR Officer will work closely with managers and employees to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.

Coordinate new employee orientation and on-boarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Support in developing and implementing employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work culture.

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.

Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.

Stay up-to-date on labour laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices.

Collaborate with the managers to implement HR initiatives and projects that align with company goals.

Ensuring that performance assessments ratings are aligned to achievement of business results.

Keeping all employees informed of all matters relevant to them by effectively and proactively communicating (both formally and informally).

Attendance and tracking of employee movements.

Issuing out Leave forms and advising employees on when to take their annual leave

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources

2+ years of experience in human resources.

Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Excel.
