Are you a skilled HVAC technician passionate about automotive climate control systems? Nicol HVAC Solutions is expanding its team and seeking two experienced HVAC Technicians to deliver expert heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services for a wide range of vehicles in our modern Lusaka workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive HVAC systems, including air conditioning compressors, condensers, evaporators, heaters, and climate control electronics.
Perform leak detection, refrigerant recovery, vacuuming, recharging, and system testing using specialised tools and equipment.
Service and repair climate control modules, sensors, and controls for modern vehicles (including hybrid and electric models).
Collaborate with mechanics, electricians, and body teams to deliver integrated vehicle repairs and customer satisfaction.
Ensure all HVAC work complies with environmental regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Keep accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients and workshop management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in automotive air conditioning, mechanical engineering, or a relevant technical field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an automotive HVAC technician.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycle, refrigerants (including handling of R134a and R1234yf), and system diagnostics.
Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license is an advantage.
