NFC Africa Mining PLC (Chambishi Mine) an international mining company with its core business being the
development of non-ferrous metals and mineral resources in Zambia. In our quest to continue supplementing

Government effort by creating more local jobs, we seek to employ suitably qualified, innovative and dynamic

individuals to fill the vacant positions below:

1. Industrial Relations Officer (x1)

Key Responsibilities

The role will include but not be limited to the following
responsibilities:

Interprets and implement company policies, procedures,
rules, labour laws and conditions of service to
management officials, employees and workers’
representatives.
Provides support in performance appraisals for all
employees in the section/department in order to check individual performance for confirmation, promotion and salary reviews
Promotes employee welfare by attending to individual or group grievances affecting their work.
Investigates disciplinary cases, record statements and facilitate disciplinary hearing.
Provides support in the recruitment, placement, compensation, retention and separation of staff

Qualifications & Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or
related program
Full Grade 12 certificate
Paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Human
Resource management- ZIHRM
Minimum of 2 years of work experience, experience in
the Mining sector will be an added advantage.
