Job Description
The intern will be trained to support the design, development, and enhancement of digital tools and platforms that facilitate data collection, visualization, and reporting for health programs.
Key activities

Assists in building and improving web and/or mobile applications used in data collection and reporting.

Writes and tests clean, efficient code under the supervision of senior developers.

Helps maintain and debug existing tools or platforms.

Documents code and development processes clearly.

Works with program and data teams to align system functionality with user needs.

Participates in data visualization development (e.g., dashboards).

Contributes to automation scripts or API integrations as required.
Qualifications

Full Grade 12 certificate
-
Degree Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PHP, or others).

Familiarity with databases and web development frameworks.

Interest in public health and data systems is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
