ATS is looking for vibrant and ambitious young individual to explore an Internship programme which will afford you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and managing critical infrastructure and services essential for remote site operations within remote facilities. This internship is designed to provide exposure to maintenance, catering, and housekeeping duties, offering a comprehensive learning experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Assistance:
    • Assist in conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment.
    • Learn to troubleshoot and resolve basic maintenance issues under supervision.
    • Support senior technicians in performing repairs and installations as required.
  • Catering Support:
    • Assist in meal preparation and service operations.
    • Learn food safety protocols and assist in maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
    • Support inventory management and procurement processes related to catering supplies.
  • Housekeeping Duties:
    • Assist in cleaning and maintaining cleanliness standards across accommodations and common areas.
    • Learn to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
    • Support laundry operations and ensure adequate supply of linens and amenities.
  • Operational Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
    • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
    • Assist in documenting maintenance activities and preparing reports as required

  • Strong listening and questioning, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow and ensure compliance with operational processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and challenging environment.
  • Basic knowledge of hospitality services.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Creative visionary and able to be innovative.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and confident

Qualifications

  • Between the age 20-25yrs
  • At least 1 year in the hospitality environment
  • Currently pursuing or completed a qualification in Hospitality, Facilities Management, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in gaining practical experience in facilities management within remote areas
  • Experience working with a diverse team
