AfriTradeX Zambia Internship Opportunities

Duration: 3–6 Months (Extension based on performance)

1. Mineral Onboarding Intern

Responsibilities:

● Register artisanal and small-scale miners.
● Document mineral types, quantities, and locations.
● Verify mining licenses with Zambia’s Mining Cadastre system.

● Grade 12 certificate or higher.
● Basic tech skills (e.g., email, Excel).
● Fluent in local languages (Bemba, Nyanja, Tonga).

2. Tech Development Intern

Allowance: K3,500/month

● Develop USSD/web portals for miner registration.
● Set up databases and implement basic cybersecurity protocols.
● Provide tech support to field teams.

Requirements:

● Background in IT/Computer Science or demonstrable skills.
● Knowledge of Python/SQL is a plus.

3. Compliance & Verification Intern

Responsibilities:

● Support export permit processes and ZRA filings.
● Collaborate with labs (e.g., SGS) for mineral grade verification.
● Manage weighbridge receipts and export documentation.

Requirements:

● Suitable for students in Law, Geology, or Business Administration.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
