Key areas of responsibility will include the following:

• Overseeing, managing Zamseed inventory levels and collaborates with other departments to meet inventory needs and contribute to optimizing stock levels.
• Monitor stock movement and conduct regular physical stock counts to reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Use inventory management software to record, update, track and manage inventory.
• Ensuring that the materials delivered match the invoices.
• Keeping all records on store items up to date and reporting any variances
• Keep track of all items that are stolen, lost, dysfunctional (irreparably broken), or otherwise no longer useful.
• Ensuring that all seed varieties are issued before expiry.
• Generate inventory reports and provide insights for decision-making.
• Any other assigned duties

Required Experience :

1. Must have successfully completed ACCA/ZICA/CIMA Level 3 or should have an Accounting Degree.
2. Possessing three years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in SAGE 300 is required.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
6. Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
