Chilanga Cement, Ndola Plant, is looking to recruit dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic and qualified individuals to take up the roles of;
2. ISSUING OFFICER (X1)
Overall, Mission of the Role:
The candidate will receive and issue materials and spares for use in various departments and will be required to update the Stores Management System on a daily basis.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain Safe and good housekeeping
Issues spares and updates the System
Identifies discrepancies between system and Physical and investigates for reconciliation
Bin items in their respective locations
Manage all the consignment arrangements on the site
Process all the Work orders within 24 hours
Bin all the receipted items in the correct bin locations
Issue the requested items in the right quantities and update the system
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Carry out cycle counts on all consumables and record in the replenishing book when items reach reorder level
Identify discrepancies between System and Physical quantities and reconcile variances
Replenish all spares parts in optimal quantities as requested by the end user
Circulate replenishment reports every week
Coordinate with users on Projects and Shutdown planning and give feedback in the weekly
scheduling meetings
Track PRS in the system for the order generation
Engage Procurement to expedite processing of orders and follow up with Suppliers
Proper document management
Ability to reconcile the discrepancies identified
Performs any other duties as assigned by superiors.
Qualifications, Experience and skills required:
Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in CIPS
Diploma in Stores Management
Computer literacy
Must be a registered member of the relevant professional body.
Technical skills
Knowledge of safety rules and regulations
Ability to operate a computer
Ability to drive and operate forklift equipment
Basic knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical components and
spares
Experience in the Mining Industry is an added advantage
Ability to resolve queries in a timely manner
