About the job
Our client is looking for a skilled IT Administrator to install, update, and maintain hardware and software systems, as well as troubleshoot network and server issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and supporting the company’s technological objectives.
Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain network and server systems to ensure optimal performance.

Provide second-line support to the call center and assist with training as needed.

Run diagnostic tests and implement debugging methods to improve system efficiency.

Upgrade, install, and configure new hardware and software in line with company objectives.

Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.

Create user accounts, perform access control, and ensure data security.

Document IT processes, including backing up and archiving data.

Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures.

Design and implement systems for efficient end-user feedback and error reporting.
Key Skills
-
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and software.

Knowledge of networking systems, including switch and routing.

Ability to implement security measures and manage user access control.

Proficiency in documenting IT processes and managing data backups.

Excellent communication and training skills for end-user support.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service-focused IT environment.

1 year of experience with switch and routing, virtualized environments, hardware support, and software installation.
Qualifications
-
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certification in one or more of the following: CISCO CCNA, N+, MSCA, A+.
