Job Vacancy: IT Auditor

Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is looking for a meticulous IT Auditor to evaluate and improve our IT systems and controls in Lusaka. The IT Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits, identifying risks, and recommending solutions to enhance IT governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct IT audits and assessments.
• Evaluate IT controls and identify areas of risk.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
• Develop and implement audit plans and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to IT systems and controls.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulations.
• Provide training and support on IT governance and compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Auditor or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of IT auditing principles and practices.
• Proficiency in audit tools and software.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CISA) preferred.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork and project management skills.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT auditing.
